Ricochet Zero
Privacy Policy
Ricochet Zero is made by lastone.games ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game collects, why, and who sees it. The short version: there are no accounts, we never ask for your name, email or contacts, and your progress lives on your phone.
What stays on your phone
Your campaign progress, stars, best scores and times, and your settings (music, sound and vibration) are saved only on your device. We can't see them. Deleting the app deletes them.
What we collect
- A random player ID. The game makes up a random ID the first time it runs. It is not linked to your name, Apple ID or device, and it is what lets the leaderboards tell your scores apart from everyone else's.
- Level results. When you clear a level, the game sends your score and clear time for that level, with your random ID, so we can show world high scores and best times. On the leaderboards you appear only as an anonymous tag such as PILOT-4821.
- Play sessions and ad events. When the game opens and when an ad is shown, the game sends a short record of it (time, which ad placement, and the ad revenue reported for it). We use this to decide how often ads appear, so the game doesn't show too many, and to see whether changes make the game better or worse for players.
- Technical data. Like any internet service, our servers receive your IP address and basic request details when the game connects. We use them only to run and protect the service and do not use them to identify you.
The game works offline. Results wait on your phone and are sent the next time it connects.
Ads
Ricochet Zero is free and is paid for by ads, including optional ads you can choose to watch to revive or get extra time. Ads are served through AppLovin and its ad partners. To show and measure ads, they may collect information such as your device model, operating system, IP address, ad interactions and coarse location from your IP address.
If the game asks whether it may track you and you say yes, ad partners may also use your device's advertising identifier to show ads more relevant to you. If you say no, it is not shared, and you will still see ads, just less personalised ones. You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
AppLovin's privacy policy: applovin.com/privacy.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, which hosts our game servers and stores the leaderboards and session records.
- AppLovin and its ad partners, as described above.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Leaderboard results are kept while the leaderboards are running. Session and ad records are kept for up to 13 months and then deleted or reduced to totals that don't include any player ID.
Children
Ricochet Zero is a general audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Turn off ad tracking in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Delete the app to remove everything stored on your phone.
- Ask us to access or delete data linked to your random player ID by emailing support@lastone.games. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights, and we will honour them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Important changes will also be noted in the game's App Store release notes.
